Dave Parker served as a commissioned officer in the U. S. Army for twelve years attaining the rank of Major prior to resignation. During this period he was assigned primarily in airborne units, and as an instructor, training officer, and unit commander for nuclear deployment units. He has been charged with security for military installations both within the U.S. and overseas, and resigned his commission in 1978 with a Top Secret security clearance.

He has previously held positions in security operations and marketing, with two Houston area security contractors. Dave has served for eight years on the Executive Committee of the Houston Chapter, of the American Society for Industrial Security. He is currently the President of the Associated Security Services and Investigators of the State of Texas, and holds membership in numerous other professional organizations.
